The 11plus in Kingston-upon-Thames.
The London area has a lot of grammar schools and the 11+ selection process seems to be separated into a number of different areas and one of these is Kingston-upon-Thames & Sutton. It is important that you know the admissions process for grammar schools and the exam content.
Competition for entry into year 7 for Kingston-upon-Thames grammar schools is high due to the relatively small umber of schools in the area - just two grammar schools.
Kingston-upon-Thames grammar schools use an 11plus exam produced by GL and is English and maths based.
The Test Papers
For both schools the exam is written by GL. There will be papers covering the following topics:

English
There may also be a school written paper covering both Maths and English in additional to the GL written 11+ paper.

Like many other London council areas parents who wish for their child to attend these schools must complete a Supplementary Information Form (SIF) and return it within the stated time span.
